Hi, I’m Lexi. I’m so glad you’re here.

Therapy can be intimidating and hard work, but I am here to provide a safe, supportive space (that’s not too scary!) that allows you to work towards your goals, relieve stress, and process your inner thoughts and feelings. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor certified in Perinatal Mental Health with over 15 years experience working with individuals who have struggled with depression and anxiety, or have endured traumatic, overwhelming experiences.  As a psychotherapist, I empower teens and adult women to trust themselves and find their voice in order to confidently make healthy decisions and  have positive relationships (including one with themself). Together we can identify what some of the barriers are to feeling happy and calm and implement some changes, often small and simple ones, that can make a big difference in your life.

I was so honored when a long term client of mine referred to me as her “thought partner” and I now strive to be a thought partner for all my clients.

My Approach

My warm, direct approach helps clients to feel comfortable sharing their inner feelings while taking chances to try new things, shift their mindset, and improve relationships. In collaboration with my clients, I develop an individualized plan to help them reach their goals.  I use a person centered, strength based style that fits my clients’ needs. My practice encompasses a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including talk therapy, sensory skills, cognitive behavioral strategies, relaxation techniques, and effective communication/conflict resolution skills. While I use a range of treatment approaches, I am also formally trained in ARC (Attachment Regulation Competency), Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), SMART (Sensorimotor Arousal Regulation Treatment), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I have additionally received training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and completed the advanced training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders by Postpartum Support International.
