Meet Haley Stansberry, Masters Level Clinician

Sometimes depression and anxiety slow us down, but they do not have to define who we are. Therapy can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. We can have good days and bad days. One of the ideas I lean on regularly in my work with clients is that two things can be true at once. I am a masters level mental health counselor with 10 years of experience working with people in a helping profession.

My approach as a therapist is to focus on building a solid relationship with my clients and work with them to set goals and develop a plan to achieve those goals. I work with individuals to help them find coping skills that will work for them to manage their difficult emotions and lead a life they are content with. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to unload the things that are troubling them and work on finding solutions.

My background:

- Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University, 2021

- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Delaware, 2014

- Ten years of experience in the helping profession including addiction treatment, elder services, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric treatment
